DUTCH DOOM DAYS XI

We are thrilled to announce that we will be playing at the longest running doom metal festival in Europe: the Dutch Doom Days!

Starve will be playing on October 21st with Celestial Season, Gorilla Monsoon and Poema Arcanvs.

We are also working on some small tours, but in the meantime get in touch to book us for your venue, living room, squat, basement, retirement home or caravan.

CAMPSITE OF THE LIVING DEAD

Attention all zombie lovers! Last year, we were lucky enough to be part of the filming of an incredible zombie movie project called Il Campeggio dei Morti Viventi. The director of the movie even created an awesome video for our song 'This Town is Dead' using footage of the movie. You can check it out here:



Since this is a 'no-budget' zombie movie, all the money comes straight from the cast & crew - and unfortunately, they still need a bit more to be able to finish the movie. So they need our, and your, help.

If you love zombie movies, or if you love Starve, and have some money you can spare (and have Paypal) send some to ilovestarve@gmail.com and in the subject or message body let us know that it is for Il Campeggio. We will make sure that the money gets to the creators of the movie. Any amount is appreciated!

Kraken gaat door

Next Friday, Starve will be playing at a benefit for a squat in Utrecht. Other bands are Kezus Krijst and the notorious Drugsmokkel featuring PJ AKA The Silent Driver. Great dude.

p.s. Integrity was fucking awesome last night. Everyone was turning, everything was circling - there is no reality.

Unfortunately, the split with Terzij de Horde has been delayed for now. No news yet on when it will be coming out, but it should be soon. When it does come out, it will be suitably celebrated with a release show, probably somewhere in Utrecht. Keep your eyes open for that. In the meantime, you can still stream it online (see
this post).

Also, be sure to come to this show, we will be playing with Rot in Hell, Integrity, Deathrite and Hessian. A very international line-up:

We are working on some trips into uncharted territories (for us), but in the meantime we are always looking for shows, so get in touch if you want to book us. We will bring our own supply of earplugs.

Starve/Terzij de Horde - A Chosen Hollow by LURKERSPATH

Starve have recorded a video for the song ‘Hard to Forget’, off the upcoming split 12” ‘A Chosen Hollow’ with Terzij de Horde. This 12” should see the cold light of day early in 2012 and will be released by Badger Records.

Slugfest, Deutschland, Starve.

If you happen to find yourself in Eindhoven next week, wondering why the earth is shaking, it might just be from one of the bands playing at SLUGFEST in Dynamo.

Be sure to check out the band on the other side of our upcoming split, TERZIJ DE HORDE, too. And Heavy motherfucking Lord. And new STARVE shirts, which will hopefully be ready in time for this fest.

Sadly, our show at the TAC in Eindhoven has been moved again to an as yet unconfirmed date, but with good reason. We could never compete with Pentagram playing the same town, on the same day. Instead of that, STARVE will flee the comforts of our own country and regroup in the city of Nürnberg, Germany for an evening of DOOM:

The day after that, we shall hit the Autobahn again together with Heavy Lord and journey to Antwerpen to blow some speakers there.
